O thou enveloped in thy cloak, 1 Arise and warn! 2 And your Lord glorify 3 thy robes purify 4 shun uncleanness; 5 Give not, thinking to gain greater 6 But, for thy Lord's (Cause), be patient and constant! 7 When the trumpet is sounded,. 8 that day will be a harsh day, 9 Not of ease, for disbelievers. 10 Leave Me Alone (to deal) with whom I created Alone (without any means, i.e. Al-Walid bin Al-Mughirah Al-Makhzumi)! 11 and designated for him ample wealth, 12 And sons to be by his side!- 13 And made (life) smooth for him. 14 and yet, he greedily desires that I give him even more! 15 By no means!
