۞ Allah is He Who shaped you out of weakness, then appointed after weakness strength, then, after strength, appointed weakness and grey hair. He createth what He will. He is the Knower, the Mighty. 54 And on the Day whereon the Hour arriveth, the culprits will swear that they tarried not but an hour; thus were they ever deluded. 55 And those who have been vouchsafed knowledge and belief will say: assuredly ye have tarried according to the decree of Allah until the Day of Upraising; so this is the Day of Upraising, but ye were wont not to know. 56 So that will be the Day when the excuses of the wrong-doers will not avail them, nor will they be asked to make amends. 57 verily We have propounded for men, in this Qur'an every kind of Parable: But if thou bring to them any Sign, the Unbelievers are sure to say, "Ye do nothing but talk vanities." 58 Even so God seals the hearts of those that know not. 59 So be thou patient; surely God's promise is true; and let not those who have not sure faith make thee unsteady. 60
