Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
O THOU human being! 1 By the Wise Koran, 2 that you (Muhammad) are a Messenger 3 On a straight path. 4 This is a revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Indeed the Word (of punishment) has proved true against most of them, so they will not believe. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 And We have placed before them a barrier and behind them a barrier, so We have covered them, so that they see not. 9 And it is the same for them, whether you warn them or do not warn them – they will not believe. 10 Thou canst [truly] warn only him who is willing to take the reminder to heart, and who stands in awe of the Most Gracious although He is beyond the reach of human perception: unto such, then, give the glad tiding of [God's] forgiveness and of a most excellent reward! 11 Surely We give life to the dead, and We write down what they have sent before and their footprints, and We have recorded everything in a clear writing. 12
