Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the sky is split, 1 and when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the seas are flowed out, 3 when the tombs are overthrown, 4 the soul shall know what it has done, the former and the latter. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 Who created you then formed your symmetry, then gave you right proportion, 7 Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee. 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 noble, writers 11 They know all that you do. 12 The pious will surely be in heaven, 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 A day on which no soul hath power at all for any (other) soul. The (absolute) command on that day is Allah's. 19
