The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 And by the Night when it is still,- 2 Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 And the Hereafter is indeed better unto thee than the life present. 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan, so provided you shelter? 6 Did He not find you unaware of the Right Way, and then directed you to it? 7 And find you in want and make you to be free from want? 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 and chide not him who asks, 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
