The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Read (Prophet Muhammad) in the Name of your Lord who created, 1 Has created man from a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood). 2 Recite thou: And thy Lord is the Most Bounteous, 3 who taught by the pen, 4 Taught man what he knew not. 5 And yet, but yet man is rebellious, 6 In that he looketh upon himself as self-sufficient. 7 for, behold, unto thy Sustainer all must return. 8 Have you seen the one who forbids 9 a servant (of Allah) when he prays? 10 What is your opinion – if he were upon guidance, 11 He would enjoin piety, so how good it would be! 12 What do you think? Have you seen if he belies and turns away, 13 Did he not know that God sees? 14 Nay! if he desist not, We would certainly smite his forehead, 15 A lying, sinful forelock! 16 Then let him call upon his henchmen! 17 We will call on the angels of punishment (to deal with him)! 18 Yes indeed; do not listen to him – and prostrate, and become close to Us. (Command of Prostration # 14) ۩ 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
