The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
WOE TO EVERY slanderer, back-biter, 1 Who amasses wealth and considers it a provision (against mishap); 2 Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever! 3 On the contrary! He shall be flung to the Crusher. 4 And what have you understood what the Crushing One is! 5 It is a Fire kindled by God. 6 to penetrate into the hearts. 7 Lo! it is closed in on them 8 in columns outstretched. 9
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
