Al-Baqarah 5 of 40

O Children of Israel, remember My favor which I have bestowed upon you and fulfill My covenant [upon you] that I will fulfill your covenant [from Me], and be afraid of [only] Me. 40 Believe in that which I have [now] bestowed from on high, confirming the truth already in your possession, and be not foremost among those who deny its truth; and do not barter away My messages for a trifling gain; and of Me, of Me be conscious 41 Do not confuse truth with falsehood, nor conceal the truth knowingly. 42 Establish your prayers, pay the obligatory charity, and bow with those who bow. 43 ۞ Do you bid other people to be pious, the while you forget your own selves - and yet you recite the divine writ? Will you not, then, use your reason?! 44 Seek help in patience and prayer; and truly it is hard save for the humble-minded, 45 who reckon that they will meet their Lord and that to Him they will return. 46
