S (Saad)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Saad* – By oath of the renowned Qur’an, (Alphabet of the Arabic language; Allah and to whomever He reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 But the Unbelievers (are steeped) in self-glory and Separatism. 2 How many did We destroy before them of the generations, then they cried while the time of escaping had passed away. 3 And they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, and the disbelievers say: This is an enchanter, a liar. 4 "Has he made the aliha (gods) (all) into One Ilah (God - Allah). Verily, this is a curious thing!" 5 Their assembly left (saying): 'Go, and be patient to your gods, this is something to be desired. 6 “We never heard of this even in Christianity, the latest religion; this is clearly a newly fabricated matter.” 7 “Is the Qur’an which is sent to him, among us?” In fact they are in a doubt concerning My Book; in fact, they have not yet tasted My punishment. 8 Or, have they the treasuries of the Mercy of your Lord, the Almighty, the Giving? 9 Or is it that theirs is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and what is between them? Then let them ascend by any 10 This is only a small army out of the several armies that will suffer defeat here. 11 The folk of Noah before them denied (their messenger) and (so did the tribe of) A'ad, and Pharaoh firmly planted, 12 and [the tribe of] Thamud, and the people of Lot, and the dwellers of the wooded dales [of Madyan]: they all were leagued together, [as it were, in their unbelief:] 13 There was not one of those that did not belie the Messengers. Therefore, My retribution was realized. 14
