Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 Who gives but little, and is niggardly? 34 Is with him the knowledge of the unseen so that he sees? 35 Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses- 36 And Abraham who paid his debt: 37 That no soul laden bears the load of another, 38 and that man shall have only that for which he strives; 39 That his endeavours will be judged, 40 Then he will be recompensed with a full and the best recompense. 41 and that the final return is to your Lord, 42 And that it is He who makes [one] laugh and weep 43 That it is He Who granteth Death and Life; 44 And that He createth the two spouses, the male and the female, 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 and that it is He who gives riches and causes to hoard, 48 and that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius, 49 And that He did destroy the Ad of old 50 And destroyed the tribe of Thamud, not sparing anyone? 51 Like the people of Noah before them, who were surely oppressors and rebellious; 52 And He destroyed the Overthrown Cities (of Sodom and Gomorrah). 53 And covered them by that which He covered. 54 Which then of thy Lord's benefits wilt thou doubt? 55 This is a (Prophet) like that of the ancient warners (Prophets). 56 that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer, 57 and none but Allah can avert it. 58 Do you then wonder at this recital (the Quran)? 59 And you laugh and do not weep 60 Indulging in pleasantries? 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
