The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the Event will come to pass 1 no soul will deny its coming. 2 Degrading (some) and exalting (others); 3 When the earth shall be shaken with a (severe) shaking, 4 and the mountains fragmented 5 So they will become like fine dust, scattered in a shaft of light. 6 And ye will be three kinds: 7 Those on the Right -- how blessed are those on the Right! 8 Companions of the Left (O Companions of the Left!) 9 And the forerunners, the forerunners - 10 It is they who are the close ones. 11 in the Gardens of Bliss. 12 a good many of those of olden times, 13 but [only] a few of later times. 14 They (will be seated) on gold-encrusted couches, 15 Reclining thereon facing each other. 16 They will be served by immortal boys, 17 with goblets and ewers and a cup filled with a drink drawn from a running spring, 18 which will not cause them any intoxication or illness. 19 they will also go about them with the fruits of which they may choose, 20 And the flesh of fowl such as they desire. 21 and there shall be wide-eyed maidens, 22 The like of the hidden pearls: 23 a recompense for all that they did. 24 Not frivolity will they hear therein, nor any taint of ill,- 25 (Naught) but the saying: Peace, (and again) Peace. 26 And those on the right how (fortunate) are those on the right! 27 [They will be] among lote trees with thorns removed 28 Bananatrees, piled 29 and spreading shade 30 and gushing water, 31 and abundant fruits, 32 never-ending and unrestricted, 33 And on Thrones (of Dignity), raised high. 34 Verily We! We have created those maidens by a creation. 35 And made them virgin - pure (and undefiled), - 36 Lovers, friends, 37 for the people of the right hand 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
