The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 who created and shaped, 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
