Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

When the earth is shaken with its (final) earthquake. 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 Because thy Lord will inspire her. 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 Whosoever has done even an atom's weight of good will behold it; 7 and whoso has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
