The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

The event that terrifies the hearts! 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 The day when men will be like scattered moths. 4 and the mountains shall be like plucked wool-tufts. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 will have a most pleasing life. 7 And as for him whose balances are light, 8 He is in the lap of one that abases. 9 How will you comprehend what that is? 10 It is the scorching fire. 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
