The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
