Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 And by the Night when it is still,- 2 (Muhammad), your Lord has not abandoned you (by not sending you His revelation), nor is He displeased with you. 3 And surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before. 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge? 6 And He found you lost and guided [you], 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with harshness, 9 And do not drive the beggar away, 10 and proclaim the bounties of your Lord. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
