The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth will be shaken with a mighty shaking, 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 On that Day it shall proclaim its news, 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8
