The Poets (Alshu'araa')

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. 1 These are verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 Wouldst thou, perhaps, torment thyself to death [with grief] because they [who live around thee] refuse to believe [in it]? 3 If We will, We shall send down on them out of heaven a sign, so their necks will stay humbled to it. 4 Never does there come to them an admonition from the Merciful Lord but they turn away from it. 5 They will soon come to know the truth of that which they have been scoffing at. 6 Do they not look at the earth, how We caused a variety of fine vegetation to grow from it (in abundance)? 7 Surely in this there is a sign, yet most of them would not believe: 8 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
