Truly, it is the sending of the Lord of the Worlds. 192 Which the trusted spirit descended with 193 to your heart, so that you will warn (the people of the dangers of disobeying God). 194 In plain Arabic speech. 195 Truly it is in the Scriptures of the ancients. 196 Is not the fact (that the Israelite scholars already knew about the Quran through their Book) sufficient evidence for the pagans of the truthfulness (of the Quran)? 197 And had We revealed it unto any of the non-Arabs, 198 And he had read it unto them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We caused this (Admonition) to penetrate the hearts of the culprits (like a hot rod). 200 They will not believe it until they behold the painful punishment. 201 But when it comes upon them suddenly, taking them unawares, 202 Then they will say: Are we to be reprieved? 203 So for Our punishment are they impatient? 204 Therefore observe, that if We give them some comforts for some years, - 205 then there comes on them that they were promised, 206 All that with which they used to enjoy shall not avail them. 207 Never a city We destroyed, but it had warners 208 To advise; and We never oppress. 209 And this Qur'an was not brought down by the devils. 210 it behoves them not, neither are they able. 211 The satans are barred from listening to anything from the heavens. 212 So do not call any other god beside Allah lest you become of those who will be punished, 213 And warn your tribe (O Muhammad SAW) of near kindred. 214 and be kind to your believing followers. 215 And if they disobey thee, say thou: verily I am quit of that which ye work. 216 And put your trust in Him Who is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate, 217 who sees thee when thou standest [alone,] 218 and sees your movements among those who prostrate themselves: 219 Surely He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing. 220 Should I tell you to whom the satans come? 221 They descend on every guilty impostor. 222 They listen eagerly, but most of them are liars. 223 Poets are followed by the perverse. 224 Do you not see that they wander about bewildered in every valley? 225 And that they say what they practise not?- 226 except those who believed and acted righteously and remembered Allah much, and when they themselves were subjected to wrong, they exacted retribution no more than to the extent of the wrong? Soon will the wrong-doers know the end that they shall reach. 227
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
