And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
