The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

OH, the sudden calamity! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then as for him whose measure of good deeds is heavy, 6 shall find himself in a happy state of life; 7 And for one whose scales prove light, 8 His abode shall be the abyss. 9 And what shall make thee know that which she is? 10 A flaming fire! 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
