And it is He who produced for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful. 78 It was He who scattered you on the earth, and before Him you shall be gathered. 79 And it is He Who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 Rather, they say like what the former peoples said. 81 They said, "When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 82 Certainly we are promised this, and (so were) our fathers aforetime; this is naught but stories of those of old. 83 Say, [O Muhammad], "To whom belongs the earth and whoever is in it, if you should know?" 84 They will surely say: God's. Say thou: will ye not then heed? 85 Say: Who is Lord of the seven heavens, and Lord of the Tremendous Throne? 86 They will say: 'Allah' Say: 'Will you not be cautious' 87 Say: "In whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things, and who is it that protects, the while there is no protection against Him? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 88 They will surely say: "(The dominion over all things) belongs to Allah." Say: "Whence are you then deluded?" 89 Aye! We have brought them the truth and verily they are the liars. 90 No son (or offspring or children) did Allah beget, nor is there any ilah (god) along with Him; (if there had been many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have tried to overcome others! Glorified be Allah above all that they attribute to Him! 91 Knower of the unseen and the visible; He is exalted above all that which they associate with Him. 92
