Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By (the wind) those sent (as horses') mane (in succession), 1 storming tempestuously 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 Then separate them one from another, 4 And by the angels that bring the revelations to the Messengers, 5 To clear or to warn. 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 And when the heaven is opened 9 and the mountains scattered, 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 for what Day has this been appointed? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! - 14 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 and let the latter follow them? 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 19 Did We not create you from a worthless water (semen, etc.)? 20 which We then placed in a secure repository 21 Till a limit known? 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle. 25 The living and the dead, 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 which neither provides (cooling) shade nor protection against the flames; 31 that shoots sparks like dry faggots, 32 and yellow camels. 33 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 34 This is a Day they will not speak, 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me! 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40
