Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Did you see him who gives the lie to the Reward and Punishment of the Hereafter? 1 Who turns away the orphan, 2 and feels no urge to feed the needy. 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 Those who make a display (of their deeds). 6 And withhold things of common use (from others). 7

Almighty God's Truth.
