The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
