Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24
We sent forth Noah to his nation. He said: 'Worship Allah, my people for you have no god except He. I fear for you the punishment of a great Day.' 59 The leaders of his people said: "Ah! we see thee evidently wandering (in mind)." 60 [Noah] said, "O my people, there is not error in me, but I am a messenger from the Lord of the worlds." 61 sent to preach to you the message of my Lord and to give you good advice. I know what you do not know about God. 62 Marvel ye that an admonition from your Lord should come unto you upon a man from amongst yourselves, in order that he may warn you and that ye may fear, and that haply ye may be shewn mercy? 63 They accused him of telling lies. So We saved him and his companions in an ark and drowned those who called Our revelations mere lies. They were, no doubt, a blind people. 64
