We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
