As for those who have forsaken their homes for the sake of Allah after enduring persecution, We shall certainly grant them a good abode in this world; and surely the reward of the Hereafter is much greater. If they could but know (what an excellent end awaits) 41 those who remain steadfast and put their trust in their Lord. 42 And We sent not (as Our Messengers) before you (O Muhammad SAW) any but men, whom We inspired, (to preach and invite mankind to believe in the Oneness of Allah). So ask of those who know the Scripture [learned men of the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)], if you know not. 43 [We sent them] with clear signs and scriptures. We have sent down the Reminder to you, to enable you to make clear to mankind what has been sent down to them, so that they may reflect upon it. 44 Do they feel secure, those who devise evil things, that God will not cause the earth to swallow them, or that the chastisement will not come upon them, from whence they are not aware? 45 Or that He would not seize them during their [usual] activity, and they could not cause failure? 46 Or that He may not seize them by causing them to suffer gradual loss, for your Lord is most surely Compassionate, Merciful. 47 Have they not considered what things Allah has created? Their shadows incline to the right and to the left, prostrating to Allah, while they are humble. 48 And to Allah prostrates whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth of creatures, and the angels [as well], and they are not arrogant. 49 They bear upon themselves the fear of their Lord, and do only what they are commanded. ۩ 50
