۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers: 53 (Who said): Lo! these indeed are but a little troop, 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 And We delivered Musa and those with him together. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
