Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Qaf: By the Glorious Qur'an (Thou art Allah's Messenger). 1 Nay, but they marvel that a warner of their own hath come unto them; and the disbelievers say: This is a strange thing: 2 "When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be resurrected?) That is a far return." 3 We already know how much of them the earth takes away: With Us is a record guarding (the full account). 4 They gave the lie to the Truth when it came to them. So they are now in a state of great perplexity. 5 Have they not looked at the sky above them, how We have fashioned and adorned it, and it has no flaw? 6 And the earth - We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind, 7 A perception and an understanding, for every bondman who inclines. 8 And We send down blessed water (rain) from the sky, then We produce therewith gardens and grain (every kind of harvests) that are reaped. 9 And the tall palm-trees having spadices closely set one above another, 10 A provision for (Allah's) slaves. And We give life therewith to a dead land. Thus will be the resurrection (of the dead). 11 (Others) before them rejected (prophets): the people of Nuh and the dwellers of Ar-Rass and Samood, 12 And 'Aad and Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot 13 dwellers of the forest, and the people of Tubba had all rejected the Prophets. Thus, they became subject to Our torment. 14 Did We fail to accomplish the first creation? Of course, We did not; We have all power over all things. Yet they are confused about a new creation. 15
