Didst thou (O Muhammad) observe him who turned away, 33 And gave a little and [then] refrained? 34 Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees? 35 Has he not been made acquainted with what was written in the scriptures of Moses? 36 and about Abraham who fulfilled his duty (to God)? 37 That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 And that his endeavour shall be presently observed. 40 then, he shall be recompensed for it in full repayment 41 and that the final return is to your Lord, 42 It is He who causes laughter and weeping. 43 That it is He Who granteth Death and Life; 44 and that it is He who creates the two kinds - the male and the female 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 and that it is He who gives wealth and riches, 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius (the Mighty Star); 49 It was He who totally destroyed the former 'Ad 50 And Thamud, and did not leave them, 51 And the folk of Noah aforetime, Lo! they were more unjust and more rebellious; 52 And the subverted cities He overthrew. 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 He who warns you is one of the warners of old. 56 The near event draws nigh. 57 No one besides God can rescue a soul from hardship. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 And do you laugh instead of weeping, 60 And ye are behaving proudly. 61 So make obeisance to Allah and serve (Him). ۩ 62
God the Almighty always says the truth.
