The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the heaven with its impregnable castles; 1 And the promised day, 2 By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness;- 3 the people of the pit were destroyed 4 [Containing] the fire full of fuel, 5 When they were sitting near it 6 And they were witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 whom they hate for no other reason than that they believe in God, the Almighty, the One to whom all praise is due, 8 to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and earth. And Allah is the Witness of all things. 9 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10 Those who believe, and do righteous deeds, for them await gardens underneath which rivers flow; that is the great triumph. 11 Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe. 12 It is verily He who initiates and repeats. 13 And He is the Fogiving, the Loving, 14 – the Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 and the Most Effective in His decision. 16 Has the story reached thee, of the forces- 17 [Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 And yet the Unbelievers (persist) in rejecting (the Truth)! 19 However, God encompassed their activities. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Koran, 21 upon an imperishable tablet [inscribed]. 22
