We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
