Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 and of Abraham, who to his trust was true: 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 And that for man shall be naught save that wherefor he endeavoureth. 39 And that his effort will soon be scrutinised? 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 and that He it is Who causes people to laugh and to cry, 43 and that it is He who causes to die, and causes to live 44 That He created pairs, male and female, 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 and that it is for Him to grant the second life, 47 that it is He who gives wealth and possessions; 48 and that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius, 49 and that it is He who destroyed the ancient [tribes of] Ad 50 And the Thamud nor gave them a lease of perpetual life. 51 And the people of Nuh before; surely they were most unjust and inordinate; 52 And the overthrown cities did He overthrow, 53 So there covered them that which covered. 54 About which of the bounties of your Lord can they persistently dispute? 55 This is a warner from the warners of ancient times. 56 The imminent Hour has drawn near, 57 None, except Allah, can avert it. 58 Are you astonished at this news, 59 And keep laughing and do not weep, 60 and divert yourselves all the while? 61 So make obeisance to Allah and serve (Him). ۩ 62
