"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 "(It will be said to them): 'Enter therein (Paradise), in peace and security.' 46 And We will root out whatever of rancor is in their breasts-- (they shall be) as brethren, on raised couches, face to face. 47 No fatigue will touch them nor will they be expelled therefrom." 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I - I alone - am truly forgiving, a true dispenser of grace; 49 And that indeed the punishment of Mine is a painful punishment. 50 And inform them of the guests of Ibrahim: 51 When they entered unto him, and said; peace! He said: verily we are afraid of you. 52 They said, 'Be not afraid; behold, we give thee good tidings of a cunning boy.' 53 He said, 'What, do you give me good tidings, though old age has smitten me? Of what do you 54 They answered: "We have given thee the glad tiding of something that is bound to come true. So be not of those who abandon hope!" 55 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "And who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except those who are astray?" 56 He said, “And what is your next task, O the sent angels?” 57 They said: "We have been sent to a people (deep) in sin, 58 Except the family of Lot; indeed, we will save them all 59 excepting only his wife, [of whom God says,] 'We have ordained [that,] behold, she should be among those who stay behind!' 60
