Is it not clear to those who inherit the earth in succession from its (previous) possessors, that had We willed, We would have punished them for their sins. And We seal up their hearts so that they hear not? 100 We have told you the stories of those towns: their messengers came to them with clear signs, but they were never going to believe in something they had already rejected. Thus God seals up the hearts of those who deny the truth. 101 and in most of them We found no [inner] bond with anything that is right - and most of them We found to be iniquitous indeed. 102 Then after them We sent Moses with Our signs to Pharaoh and his chiefs, but they wrongfully rejected them: So see what was the end of those who made mischief. 103 And Moses said, "O Pharaoh, I am a messenger from the Lord of the worlds 104 One for whom it is right to say nothing but truth about Allah. Now have I come unto you (people), from your Lord, with a clear (Sign): So let the Children of Israel depart along with me." 105 Pharaoh said: if you have brought a sign, then bring it forth if you are truthful.' 106 Then Moses threw down his staff and suddenly, unmistakably, it appeared as a serpent, 107 And he drew forth his hand, when lo: it was white unto the beholders. 108
