Pray, "Lord, if you would show me that [the punishment] of which they have been warned, 93 do not, O my Sustainer, let me be one of those evildoing folk!" 94 We have certainly the power to make you see what We have promised them. 95 Respond to the injustice (done to you) with the better deed. We know best what they attribute to God. 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I seek refuge in You from evil suggestions of the satans. 97 and I take refuge in Thee, O my Lord, lest they attend me.' 98 (But the unbelievers will persist) until when death comes to one of them he will say: "O Lord, send me back again 99 so that I might act righteously in whatever I have failed [aforetime]!" Nay, it is indeed but a [meaningless] word that he utters: for behind those [who leave the world] there is a barrier [of death] until the Day when all will be raised from the dead! 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no more relationships between them that Day, nor will one ask after another! 101 And they whose weight [of righteousness] is heavy in the balance - it is they, they who will have attained to a happy state; 102 And those whose scales (of good deeds) are light, they are those who lose their ownselves, in Hell will they abide. 103 The Fire shall scorch their faces, exposing their jaws. 104 'What, were My signs not recited to you, and you cried them lies?' 105 They will exclaim: "O our Sustainer! Our bad luck has overwhelmed us, and so we went astray! 106 "Our Lord! Bring us out of this; if ever we return (to evil), then indeed we shall be Zalimun: (polytheists, oppressors, unjust, and wrong-doers, etc.)." 107 He will say: "Be ye driven into it (with ignominy)! And speak ye not to Me! 108 Surely there was a party of My servants who said: O our Lord! we believe, so do Thou forgive us and have mercy on us, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 109 But you took them for laughingstock, mocking at them, until they caused you to forget My remembrance. 110 Today I shall recompense them for their patience, for it is they that have won. 111 [And] He will ask [the doomed]: "What number of years have you spent on earth?" 112 They will say: we tarried a day or part of a day; ask those who keep count. 113 He will say, "You only stayed for a little while, if only you knew. 114 Did you think that We had created you for a playful purpose and that you were not to return to Us?" 115 Now Allah be Exalted, the True King! There is no Allah save Him, the Lord of the Throne of Grace. 116 And whoever invokes (or worships), besides Allah, any other ilah (god), of whom he has no proof, then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely! Al-Kafirun (the disbelievers in Allah and in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, pagans, idolaters, etc.) will not be successful. 117 And (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) say, “My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, and You are the Best of all the Merciful. 118
God the Almighty always says the truth.
