The food of the Zakkum tree 43 is food for the sinner. 44 like molten copper, bubbling in the belly 45 as the boiling of the hot water. 46 "Seize him and drag him into the depths of Hell," (it will be said), 47 then pour over his head the chastisement of boiling water!' 48 [It will be said], "Taste! Indeed, you are the honored, the noble! 49 "Truly this is what ye used to doubt!" 50 Verily! The Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), will be in place of Security (Paradise). 51 among gardens and springs, 52 wearing [garments] of silk and brocade, facing one another [in love]. 53 Thus shall it be: and We shall espouse them to fair, wide-eyed maidens. 54 They call therein for every fruit in safety. 55 They taste not death therein, save the first death. And He hath saved them from the doom of hell, 56 as a favour from your Lord. That is the great triumph. 57 Certainly, We have made this (Quran) easy in your tongue, in order that they may remember. 58 So be on the watch; they too are on the watch. 59
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: Smoke (Al-Dukhaan). Sent down in Mecca after Vanity (Al-Zukhruf) before Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
