▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by Mawaqi (setting or the mansions, etc.) of the stars (they traverse). 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 And ye are then looking on. 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 If he is among the near 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
