Al-Mulk 2 of 2
He it is Who hath made the earth unto you subservient, so go forth in the regions thereof, and eat of His provision. And unto Him is the Resurrection. 15 Have ye taken security from Him Who is in the heaven that He will not cause the earth to swallow you when lo! it is convulsed? 16 Do you feel secure that the One in the heavens will not strike you with a sandstorm? You will soon know, with the coming of the torment, how serious Our warning was. 17 Those who have gone before you also belied (their Messengers) then how was My disapproval! 18 Have they not seen birds above them spreading and closing their wings, with none holding them except the Merciful One? He oversees everything. 19 Nay, who is there that can help you, (even as) an army, besides (Allah) Most Merciful? In nothing but delusion are the Unbelievers. 20 Or who is it that could provide for you if He withheld His provision? But they have persisted in insolence and aversion. 21 What, is he who walks, falling upon his face, more guided than he who walks upright on a Straight Path! 22 Say: 'It is He who has created you and given to you hearing, sight and hearts but little is it that you thank' 23 Say thou: He it is Who hath spread you over the earth, and unto Him ye shall be gathered. 24 But they say: "When will this promise come to pass, if what you say is true?" 25 Say: "As to the knowledge of the time, it is with Allah alone: I am (sent) only to warn plainly in public." 26 Then, when they see it drawing near, the faces of the unbelievers will be blackened, and it is said: 'This is what you were promised' 27 Say, [O Muhammad], "Have you considered: whether Allah should cause my death and those with me or have mercy upon us, who can protect the disbelievers from a painful punishment?" 28 Say, "He is the Most Merciful; we have believed in Him, and upon Him we have relied. And you will [come to] know who it is that is in clear error." 29 Say, "Have you considered: if your water was to become sunken [into the earth], then who could bring you flowing water?" 30

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
