But [let them always remember that] if We lengthen a human being's days, We also cause him to decline in his powers [when he grows old]: will they not, then, use their reason? 68 And We have not taught him (Muhammad) poetry, nor is it meet for him. This is naught else than a Reminder and a Lecture making plain, 69 To warn the living*, and to prove the Word against disbelievers. (Only the believers are deemed alive in Allah’s sight.) 70 Do they not see Our handiwork: We created for them cattle which they own? 71 And have subjected the animals for them, so they ride some animals and eat some? 72 some for milk to drink and some from which other benefits may be received? Will they not be grateful? 73 And they have appointed Gods other than Allah, that perhaps they may be helped! 74 They cannot help them, though they be hosts made ready for them. 75 Therefore let not their speech grieve you; surely We know what they do in secret and what they do openly. 76 Does not man see We created him from a drop of semen? Even then he becomes an open contender, 77 And he presents for Us an example and forgets his [own] creation. He says, "Who will give life to bones while they are disintegrated?" 78 Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “They will be revived by the One Who created them the first time; and He is the All Knowing of every creation.” 79 who has made for you out of the green tree fire and lo, from it you kindle.' 80 Is not He who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like of these? Yea! He is the Supreme Creator, the Knower. 81 Whenever He decides to create something He has only to say, "Exist," and it comes into existence. 82 So glory be to Him, in whose hand is the dominion of everything, and unto whom you shall be returned. 83
