The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Woe to every slanderer, defamer, 1 Who amasseth wealth; and counteth it. 2 thinking his wealth will render him immortal! 3 Nay! he shall most certainly be hurled into the crushing disaster, 4 And what shall make thee know that which the Crushing Fire is? 5 It is a fierce fire created by God 6 Which mounts directed at the hearts. 7 Surely it shall be closed over upon them, 8 in towering columns. 9
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
