۞ And We revealed to Musa, saying: Go away with My servants travelling by night, surely you will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!" - whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And yet, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 68
