Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
