But nay! I swear by all that ye see 38 and by what you do not see, 39 Behold, this [Qur'an] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 40 and is not - however little you may [be prepared to] believe it - the word of a poet; 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer: little admonition it is ye receive. 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 Now if he [whom We have entrusted with it] had dared to attribute some [of his own] sayings unto Us, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand, 45 and then severed his life vein; 46 None of you would be able to prevent Us from doing this to him. 47 Indeed, it is a Reminder to those who fear Allah, 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 and (on the Day of Judgment) this will be a great source of regret for the unbelievers. 50 Certainly it is a Truth of absolute certainty. 51 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty. 52
