I say the truth, and call the moon to witness, 32 And by the Night as it retreateth, 33 By the morning when it brighteneth. 34 it is one of the greatest trials, 35 a warning to humankind, 36 To whoever wills among you to proceed or stay behind. 37 Every soul is a pledge for its own deeds; 38 Except the companions of the right, 39 Sitting in the gardens, asking 40 About the criminals, 41 “What drove you to Hell?” 42 They shall say: We were not of those who prayed; 43 And we have not been feeding the poor. 44 "But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers; 45 and the Day of Judgment we were wont to call a lie 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 So there will not benefit them the intercession of [any] intercessors. 48 What is then the matter with them, that they turn away from the admonition 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 running away from a lion? 51 Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books. 52 This will certainly never be the case! In fact, they are not afraid of the Day of Judgment. 53 Never so, as this is a reminder. 54 So, whoever wills may benefit from it. 55 And what advice will they heed, except if Allah wills? Only He deserves to be feared, and His only is the greatness of forgiving. 56
Almighty God's Truth.
