O People who Believe – fight the disbelievers who are near to you, and let them find severity in you, and know well that Allah is with the pious. 123 When a chapter (of the Quran) is revealed, some people ask others, "Whose faith among you people has received strength from this (revelation)?" It (the revelation) certainly strengthens the faith of the believers and they consider it to be a glad news. 124 But as for those in whose hearts is disease, it only addeth wickedness to their wickedness, and they die while they are disbelievers. 125 Do they not see how once or twice every year they are tried? Yet still they neither repent nor remember. 126 And whenever a sura is sent down, they look one at another: 'Does anyone see you?' Then they turn away. God has turned away their hearts, for that they are a people who do not understand. 127 There has come to you a Messenger of your own. Your suffering distresses him: he is deeply concerned for your welfare and full of kindness and mercy towards the believers. 128 Now, if they turn away (O Muhammad) say: Allah sufficeth me. There is no Allah save Him. In Him have I put my trust, and He is Lord of the Tremendous Throne. 129
