Lo, the Tree of Ez-Zakkoum 43 is the food of the guilty, 44 Like molten brass, it seetheth in their bellies 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 'Seize him and drag him into the center of Hell. 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of scalding water." 48 (Saying): Taste! Lo! thou wast forsooth the mighty, the noble! 49 This is what you used to doubt.” 50 Verily! The Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), will be in place of Security (Paradise). 51 among gardens and fountains, 52 They will be dressed in fine silk and embroidery, facing one another (on thrones). 53 So (it will be), and We shall marry them to Houris (female fair ones) with wide, lovely eyes. 54 They will call therein for every kind of fruit, in peace and security. 55 There they shall not taste death, except the first death, and He will shield them from the punishment of Hell, 56 as an act of grace. That will be the supreme triumph. 57 Now We have made it easy by thy tongue, that haply they may remember. 58 So be watchful, they too are watching. 59
