The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the morning brightness 1 and by the calm of night, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you nor does He dislike you! 3 The reward in the next life will certainly be better for you than worldly gains. 4 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 6 And find you lost (that is, unrecognized by men) and guide (them to you)? 7 Did He not find you poor and suffice you? 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 and him that seeks [thy] help shalt thou never chide, 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
