The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Read: In the name of thy Lord Who createth, 1 created man from a clot of congealed blood. 2 Recite, and your Lord is the most Generous - 3 Who has taught (the writing) by the pen [the first person to write was Prophet Idrees (Enoch)]. 4 He taught the human being what he did not know. 5 Nay, verily, man becomes grossly overweening 6 As he considers himself independent! 7 Verily unto thy Lord is the return. 8 Seest thou one who forbids- 9 A votary when he turns to his devotions? 10 What will happen if the praying person is rightly guided 11 Or enjoined guarding (against evil)? 12 Have you seen if he denies and turns away - 13 Does he not know that God observes all things? 14 Yes certainly, if he does not desist, We will seize him by the forelock. 15 a lying, sinful forelock. 16 Then, let him call upon his council (of helpers), 17 We, will call the Zabania (the harsh angels of Hell). 18 No, indeed; do not obey him! Prostrate and come nearer (to Allah). ۩ 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
